1st State Council Meeting

Kansas Lions, you are invited to our first State Council Meeting in the vibrant city of Wichita on Saturday, August 8, 2026! This is an incredible opportunity for Lions from all corners of our great state to come together, share ideas, and brainstorm ways to enhance our community service efforts while also attracting new members to join our mission.

The day will kick off at 8:00 AM and wrap up around 4:00 PM, so mark your calendars! For just $21.00 per person, you’ll enjoy a delightful noon meal that promises to be an investment in both your personal growth and the bonds we share as Lions. Plus, we have an exciting service project lined up to resupply our Alert Trailer—your participation will not only make a difference but also fill you with pride as you contribute to this vital resource. The trailer will be available for viewing in the parking lot, so don’t miss this chance to see firsthand what we’re working to enhance!

Our State Committees will be convening throughout the day, providing a fantastic opportunity for your active participation alongside the three Kansas Lions Foundations. This gathering is not just a meeting; it’s a celebration of our collective efforts and a chance to deepen our understanding of the impactful initiatives being undertaken across the state.

As we culminate the day with our State Council Meeting, you will gain invaluable insights into the progress and achievements of each committee, highlighting how together, we are driving forward our mission and making a difference in our communities. Your presence and contributions are vital, as they foster the spirit of collaboration and fellowship that defines the Kansas Lions.

Let’s come together, share our experiences, and inspire one another to continue our important work. I encourage each of you to take pride in your role within this remarkable organization and to look forward to the positive changes your involvement will bring to those we serve.

Please remember that meal reservations are due by July 29, and if you need accommodations, motel reservations must be made by July 31. If you encounter any issues with room availability, don’t hesitate to reach out to the State Office—we’re here to help! We can’t wait to gather with all of you and enjoy a fantastic day of fellowship and service. Let’s make this a memorable event together!
